I love capturing the whole story.

My background

Born in Argentina and raised in the midwest, I moved to New York 20 years ago to study painting and photography at Cooper Union. I started my photography work at a B/W photo lab, printing books and exhibitions for photographers including Annie Liebovitz and Mark Seliger. After managing the studio of James Nachtwey, my first mentor, I dove into documentary photography, and through weddings, discovered an opportunity to tell the story of a life-changing day. I knew I wanted to work with the best in the industry, so I spent the past ten years at one of New York’s top wedding studios. My work there took me all over NY, Europe, Asia and South America. I’ve shot at all the major New York venues, from the Plaza to the Met, and learned to beautifully light and frame whatever the day throws my way. I’ve cultivated some amazing relationships with editors, and my wedding images have been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Cut, New York Times magazine, People en Español and others.

My approach

Every wedding is different, and I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach that works for every couple. With my new boutique studio, I want to understand your vision for the day, and work with my team to capture every moment in a way that is authentic to you. I use my time before your wedding to scout the venue, see where the light moves and where the best angles are, so that on the big day I can guide you to the best spots for stress-free, natural portraits. My goal is to keep your wedding uninterrupted and the coverage honest and lighthearted! I know not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera, so I bring a sense of ease and humor that will make you feel like you’re on your first date all over again. I try to remain invisible, while also being everywhere at the same time to capture those intimate, in-between moments that often reveal the story and romance of your wedding.

In my free time, I love to shoot on the streets of New York, especially Coney Island. For the past ten years I’ve been photographing bullfighters and festivals all over Spain and the Americas. I grill for my friends most Sundays, and am co-parent to the best dog in the world! I have a full woodshop where I build furniture for fun, and am trying to grow every vegetable I can in my backyard in Brooklyn.
